Introducing Dominique Regli

Recent News

Learn about my current work as a graduate researcher in my Student Spotlight interview with the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) Alliances.

I recently graduated with my Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. My thesis is titled “Radar-Based Human Activity Recognition through Qualitative Spatial Reasoning” and this work is my first step towards realizing technology that implements privacy preserving sensors to monitor people’s activities of daily living. This provides a “safety net” for people living at home, especially in eldercare and senior living, by tracking long term health patterns in day-to-day life, detecting sudden risks that may occur, and enabling prompt response and remediation from caregivers. I am eager and ecstatic to expand upon this thesis as I continue research in my PhD studies at MIT.
